Not Exactly on Topic
So we have a new president now. I have to say that I'm less than excited. Totally not what I was hoping for in this election. I guess that proves emotion, millions of dollars, the media in your back pocket, and vague, "something better" kinds of speeches can garner power.
But in these moments of disappointment, I must remind myself (as I consider buying a "Not My President" sticker) that God is the master over all of these events. We did not elect a new God. The Lord never changes. God is still God, and I'm still not. As a son in Christ, I need to have faith in him that as I pray for his kingdom come, his will be done on earth as it is in heaven, that he will accomplish that. We have to believe in this faithful God. There is no other road to travel that will provide fulfillment of hope or any sort of safety. I'll pray for our new president, that he'll be wise and surrender to the holy word of God for the sake of his judgment before the Lord Jesus and this country.
Pray with me.

I'm praying too. I just keep repeating to myself "the king's heart is in the hand of the LORD, He turns it whithersoever He will". God is in control of this Obamanation!! ;)
