The Road through Marriage to Citizenship

Immigratory

We started a new immigration process for Agata on Wednesday: applying to have her conditions removed from her permanent residency. Her permanent residency for the last two years has been called "conditional" because she received it on on the condition of marrying me. Now that time has come to an end and we had to apply to have that removed so she'll have a 10 year green card. It included sending a bunch of proof that we are, indeed, legitimate in our marital union. That fact that we have lived together for 2 years and produced a son should help :p

We don't know how long this will take but naturally hope it won't be a long time. Please pray for God's blessing on the whole of this business.

  • Hello :)

My girlfriend and her husband in Colorado just went through this process, and I believe it only took a couple of months ... December to February ... so hopefully it goes as quickly for you guys as well!

    See you soon! :)
